Two Bowls of Tofu – So Grateful
I am reminded of a time when my heart is full of love. I am filled with so much gratefulness. I am with my wonderful companion, my soul mate. The ground I walked upon is a holy ground and the journey ahead full of promise of a blissful life in this Universe where everything seems easy and effortless. Together we will create a life full of happiness. I dreamed of a home for us. The children secure and happy. The horses enjoy the meadow and the big expanse of land to romp around. The river just below us. A place for warm soup in the winter time. The summers provide activities of fun and pleasure under the Sun. Springtime brings the promise of an abundance of laughter while picking flowers for the morning Sunday brunch. The freshly picked flowers on the dining table reminds me of God’s generosity for mankind. To me, springtime means a new life and every day a gift of life, fully knowing that each day ushers in new glorious experiences in this beautiful blue planet Earth.
So the holy ground has been prepared and our hearts full of reverence and gratefulness.
As we enter this newly discovered Thai restaurant in McLean, the feeling of peace was amplified and our hearts silenced waiting for the next miracle to unfold before us.
We are famished. We waited too long to break for lunch. And our search for a new place to eat took us here. Shoji screens and bamboo curtains adorned the entrance to the restaurant. We were greeted with happiness and calmness and were seated at a booth by a woman. She moved with ease and seemed at peace. The lamp hanging over the table was blue almost neon blue, very delicate and pretty. The lighting complemented my olive skin.
As we crossed the threshold to the far end of the restaurant, feeling as if we were walking on sacred ground. My soul mate signaled with his eyes for me to look up at the lamp, then took a picture of me, while I picked up the phone to speak to a client, a call I’ve been waiting for from the West Coast. He sees the beauty in everyone and everything. While observing him and listening to the call, I sent a vibration to him of appreciation and reminded me of his habit of looking up and arms in appreciation saying “Thank you, God.” My conversation was low tone and quick and explained to the person that I was in the middle of a sacred moment and I would call him right back.
We ordered two bowls of tofu. We talked about how peaceful it was in the restaurant, added to the feeling of reverence we are experiencing. We are on sacred ground.
My companion and I are in alignment speaking only with our thoughts most of the time. We were both feeling very holy. Come to think of it, every encounter with a human being, Dr. Wayne Dyer’s teachings tell me, must be a holy relationship and this moment was definitely a holy one, indeed!
The bowls of tofu arrived. The bowl of Asian design was the right size, just enough to fill our tummies and appease the hunger. The steam is very visible. I love my soup hot and steaming, almost hot enough to burn my tongue. And it was. I love it this way. The Universe once more provided me with this joyful experience. The soup will nourish my soul. We said our prayer adding to the holiness of the moment. I looked up and my companion looked at me to let me know he too was feeling it. We both smiled and continued eating in silence letting the soup continue to satiate our hunger and letting the ambiance amplify the holy atmosphere we found ourselves in.
When you are in love with the “one great man” in your life knowing you attracted him to you – love is even more rewarding – not the “jumping up and down feeling” but more like – so grateful to the Universe that “Yes!” everything is possible. The quality of our thoughts brings the result into our experiences of similar quality. Today, the Universe is no different. I am rewarded of how life should be – full of gratefulness and holiness. My fortune cookie says that “the person I am in front of is the mirror reflection of me.” How appropriate!
Love Live, Live Love
PS: Love one another in a holy way. Look around you and see who is with you. You are on sacred ground. Love them expecting nothing in return. Love and Live gloriously! You are a Deliberate Creator!
The practice of the Law of Attraction is easy but easily misunderstood.
When you do things and it has become such an effort that every turn of the way is an uphill battle, you are not practicing the Law of Attraction.
Things comes easy when you say “it would be nice if” rather than “I must or I should, or I need to do it or say it this way.” In fact, the ones when you are just casually wishing is when you manifest quickly. When it does happen, it is almost like it happened so naturally and you would not even realize it till much later and then you say “oh, I did just think about that just yesterday”, how cool when this happens without effort.
When I focused on the feeling of having it and how lovely it would be to have a wonderful lunch with my soul mate, the Universe handles all the details without any effort on my part.
Truly, happiness is not about having a lot of money to experience happiness, but having the experience of happiness, with or without having to acquire the money first, thinking you can buy happiness.
Esther Hicks would say, “if you had to pay for sunshine, how many action hours do you think you would need to work to pay for sunshine? There aren’t enough action hours to work for sunshine. You could never work enough to pay for sunshine.
So if you use effort to make things happen to getting what you want, you don’t need the Law of Attraction just continue to use effort, working for what you want. You will get it eventually or die trying and never having to experience the happiness that you are working so hard for.
The Law of Attraction works by you easing up on the effort, allow things things to happen, ease up on making it happen or come what may, and you say, “by golly, I will make sure it happens,” rather allow the ideas to flow through you, and focus on what you already have instead of focusing on what you don’t have. Find ways to feel good first, listen to your favorite music, go to the museum, go to the beach, read a good book, play tennis, see a funny movie, then focus on what is already here, the Law of Attraction will always work for you.
Esther Hicks says “Amplify what you already have so that the missing pieces becomes irrelevant.”
This is a very important principle because for as long as you are counting the pieces that has not arrived or missing in your life, you are emitting the absence of it. The Law of Attraction will always work for you good or bad because it returns to you what you are focusing on – and that is they are missing in your life – and they will continue to be missing in your life because you are focusing the missing pieces in your life. Confused? No, the Law of Attraction is exact and does not discriminate. It works all the time. What you focus on you get every time.
Do not face reality because if you do you will yield the same reality that you are focusing on. Unless, the reality you are experiencing is what you want then continue to face your reality.
